  • Care instructions:
  • Use a Vacuum Cleaner regularly on a slow setting to avoid any dirt accumulation.
  • In case of any stains, remove any excess moisture as soon as possible. Make sure to not rub, as this can cause to set and cause the natural jute fibres to fray
  • Gently brush with a soft brush and water as immediate treatment
  • If the stain is acidic, use soda water instead of water
  • Dry immediately with a hairdryer or fan to avoid damage
  • For solids, gently scrape it off with a blunt knife or spatula, ensuring to take care
  • Occasional cleaning from a professional rug cleaning service is recommended.
  • Please note: It is very common for shedding to occur over time with jute rugs
  • An underlay/anti-slip mat is not essential as these rugs are heavy and robust, however, we would recommend the use of it to ensure added safety on slippery floors
  • The jute used for this rug has been bleached, which may cause the colours to change slightly and darken over time. This is due to the colour of the natural jute coming through.
